Like many of my favorite artists, I earned my chops in gospel music where you have to connect with the lyrics of the song and then perform it in a way that truly delivers the message. Although I’ve branched out to other genres my work is rooted in the belief that I must bring soul to everything I touch. I’m very comfortable with r&b/gospel/hip hop/jazz/rock/pop keys.
