Studying for a degree in "Production, recording and sound" I have found a natural talent for mixing and I want to pursue it further.
I have had a very strong connection to music since I can remember; at this time, it is the primary focus of my life. I play different instruments and produce/mix daily for my studies and also for my personal development.
While studying musical production I realized I could use my full potential as a musician and a listener to my advantage. One important example of this, is in mixing.
I found a natural talent for it, and I get better and more efficient every day. This is why I am offering my services as a Mixing Technician; I want to continue honing the skill and starting to make a living out of it.

Interview with Franco Finazzi
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Down to earth, seeking a reasonable "perfection"
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Billie Eilish, she has an amazing voice
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Start your mixes without plugins, just faders and pan-pots. Gives you an amazing starting point for further mixing
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly Funk, Soul and Rock; but I try to work on as much genres as I can
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My musical criteria
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A clear path from the artist´s idea to the listener´s mind
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Before starting all my mixes I listen to the references extensively. I start my mixes by organizing my instruments by groups and colors as to better my workflow; and I create any pertinent "Stereo" tracks and "Submasters" Then, I try to establish a good starting mix with just faders and pan-pots. After this, I listen in for any problematic zones in my frequency spectrum and I EQ to fix them. Once I am comfortable enough with the mix I try to match the timbre and presence of all my instruments to the reference. Lastly, I pay close attention to the tonal balance of my mix and try to get it as close as I can to the reference.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio with recording capabilities as well as several instruments and vintage japanese Sony monitors
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing any genre of music.
