Reversed Reference on SoundBetter

Mastering engineer helping prepare your sounds for digital and vinyl.

Brickwalled mix that you need more life out of? Harsh noise session that needs some TLC to be vinyl ready?? 3 hour long ambient album??? No problem. I can work off of any file you send me, for both digital and vinyl. I love working on weird and out-there music that pushes boundaries, but I still enjoy working on any genre. I'm willing to work with any artist, but smaller artists, especially in experimental/noise/ambient/IDM/etc., are encouraged to reach out! Let's work with your budget!

About me:
Fresh out of Belmont, I have a degree in Audio Engineering Technology, but I've been producing since the early 2010s, and have been mastering for others since 2020. I run a DIY label called Retrac Recordings, and I have prepared the master for every vinyl and tape release myself. My own releases under the name "New Mexican Stargazers" have been featured on BBC, The Wire, NTS, Bandcamp Daily, and lots of other small publications.

I've commissioned Reversed Reference for several, very different projects of mine (spanning genres like Breakcore, Chiptune, Sound Collage and Gabber Noise), and they've been very communicative, worked with me regarding specific mastering influences I've had in mind, and their mastering has legitimately saved albums from going into the scrap pile for me. I'd highly recommend them any day.
