With years of drumming and musical experience across many genres I'm able to deliver high quality drum parts, by reading a chart, learning from a track, or writing my own. I'd love to work with you!
I started playing very young, growing up in a household of musicians, surrounded by instruments. I have 18 years of experience playing live, collaborating in the studio, song writing and recording in my home studio.
My roots are in blues and rock music, but I spent a lot of my teenage years playing jazz, leading me to study jazz at Leeds Conservatoire. It was there that I earnt a first-class degree in music performance.
I cover a wide range of genres and sounds, from big, boomy rock to tight, intimate soul, jazz brush work or a snare drum “crack” that cuts through a heavy guitar riff.
As a multi-instrumentalist I have a good understanding of what makes a good drum part, and how it fits in with the rest of the song. My goal is for you to be more than happy with the tracks you receive. I will always follow any directions or feedback you have, and can read parts, interpret demos, or create a part from scratch
There are 2 different sound-treated spaces I use to record in, depending on what your song is after and have professional, high-end instruments. Logic Pro X is my DAW of choice and I have a plethora of state-of-the-art microphones.
I can't wait to collaborate with you!
