Hi guys, my name is Nicoló Libener and I come from Italy. I’m 30 years old and I’m a freelance sound engineer with live and studio experience since 2012. In 2013 I obtained the title of “sound and recording engineer”. In 2015 I founded my recording studio “Alesound Production” in Alessandria, Italy. I love to mix hip hop, rap, trap, reggae and dancehall music. In my career I have often worked with some of the best artists around.

A: Analog and digital. Depends on the situation

A: I love to share music and emotions
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: In italy people and law both, don’t really recognize our job. All the sound engineers and all people who works in the music/show business live with this problem.

A: I think that I have a urban music style

A: I usually work with hip hop, rap, trap, reggae and dancehall music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is the experience on hip hop mixing
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen some music in the studio before mixing. I never close a mixing or a mastering project in the same day. I love to feel emotions during my worktime.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I personally took care of the acoustic treatment of my studio and the choice of hardware and DAW. I mix with 2 yamaha hs 8 and with one motu audio express
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love hip hop music from USA and reggae&dancehall music from Jamaica. I love too italian and european black music
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I often offer a full pack to my clients. I usually record a lot of rappers, trappers and singers and after I work on the mixing and the mastering of the project

Reggae dubplate editing: 45 €
