Macarena Palazuelos

Is a Mexican composer, producer, pianist, and writer born on March 9, 1989, in Mexico City. She has a long musical career that began at the age of 10 when she started playing the piano. She later became a singer, composer, and lyricist in a pop-rock band at the beginning of her career. She is known for her unique style of contemporary music composition, which combines easily digestible melodies with harmonic complexity that can transport listeners into their inner worlds and imagination. She composes and performs her own music on the piano and writes orchestral and minimalist music for film, ballet, and theater.

Among her personal albums, the following stand out:

"Memoirs of a Sleepless Night" - A work for piano and strings.
"Isolation" - An EP for solo piano.
"Fly Sweet Bird to the Land of No Return" - A work based on a story written by Macarena, featuring piano, a cello duet, and a soprano voice.

Original music for the short film "The Ballad of the Living Death," which received a nomination at the 360° Awards in Mexico City.

In the realm of ballet:

She has collaborated with Ballet Joven CDMX and The House of Chiron in "La Bailarina del Fuego." She has also contributed original music for the theatrical ballet production "Ó," which was presented at UNAM on International Dance Day.
