Interview with David Fraelic

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Dave Bendeth would definitely be at the top of my Mount Rushmore of mixing engineers. His drum sounds, especially his snares, are legendary. The tones he creates continually inspire me to strive for a bigger sound in my mixes. Lately, I've also been inspired by Bring Me The Horizon and their relentless drive to push the boundaries of their genre and defy their fans' expectations. The element of surprise in their music consistently leads to better results, and their production quality is incredible.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I primarily focus on mixing, but that doesn't fully encompass all my services for clients. I also handle production tasks, tuning, editing, and time alignment. Essentially, I do whatever it takes to ensure my clients receive the best possible results.
