Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When i'm in the studio with an artist we often make the beat from scratch. I do this to let the artist open up their mind, and shape the song to their vision. The artist often write the lyrics in the studio with the production looping. We then record the vocals when the artist is done writing, and i do a rough mix at the end so the artist can make some notes when they are alone. When i get ready for a mix, i have chosen not to listen to the song for at least a couple of days so my head is fresh. I often ask the artist to give me some notes and references to what they want the sound to be and get to work. After a couple of hours i take a break to reset my ears, and come back for some finishing touches before i send the mix to the artist
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a Studio near Hamar in Norway built to level up the listening environment. I use a pair on Genelec monitors and a m-audio subwoofer with the apollo twin that goes hand in hand together to make a clean and detailed sound. I don't have analog equipment because of the cost and maintenance of the equipment, but i have an arsenal of over 1000+ plugins from waves, universal audio, fabfilter and many more respected and most used software in the business.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a lot of producing, mixing and mastering for clients.
