Didn't know how much I would enjoy listening to 'bored' until it was professionally mixed and mastered by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Definitely would recommend Caz to anyone looking to take their songs to the next level

Without a doubt, the best mixing and mastering engineer I have ever worked with!! On top of his amazing skills, Caz was incredibly professional, fast yet efficient and delivered what I asked for down to the tiniest details on my song "Bad Habits". The way he mixed my vocals made them sound heavenly, and the entire track turned out so clean and well-defined! The mastering he did is so well-balanced and cohesive. I recommend Caz to anyone who wants to get the best possible version of their song!

Best vocal production and mixing I could ask for. Caz takes my unnecessarily overcrowded productions and somehow engineers the clearest mixes I’ve ever heard. On top of that his professionalism and on time delivery is unmatched along with the ease of working with him. If he was toothpaste he would be recommended by all 10 dentists.

Caz did incredible work on my song "Nemesis"! I gave him concise and clear directions and an early demo, and within a matter of days he was able to respond with a a production that exceeded my expectations. Caz is fast, detailed, and has nothing but respect for his client's creative decisions and strives to make the best song he can make each and every time. He is THE best mixing and mastering engineer and producer I've ever worked with. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Caz.

My favorite vocal and mixing engineer. Caz helped with the production, recording and mixing of my song Fever Dream. I've never met someone with as deep of an understanding of audio and how to construct a record. Caz also did the master for the song, and was able to provide me with a dynamic final master that didn't lose transients or sound over compressed! As an EDM artist this can often be an issue since many sounds are loud or distorted, but Caz always knows how to make things fit into the mix perfectly. Wish I could give 6 stars

Caz helped create something beyond what I could have ever envisioned for "Sirius". Every step of the creative process, Caz was understanding of my vision & his sole priority was to ensure that it was realised. Without fail, he pushed me to go beyond what I am used to, while still being mindful of my comfort and values. Caz is a hard-working and meticulous producer; this is not only portrayed in his incredible work but also in his devotion for the artists he works with. There is no one I would entrust more with my art and I look forward to all the projects we work on together!

Interview with Caz Daniels

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: My promise is to always treat your song with the same care and attention I would give my own. I’ll make sure your vision stays at the center of the process, and I won’t stop until the track sounds like the version you imagined—only better. Whether it’s mixing, vocal production, or creative polishing, I’m here to help you bring your ideas to life in a way that feels authentic, professional, and release-ready.

  3. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  4. A: I usually start by asking clients to describe their artistry in a few words—how they see themselves and what kind of sound or feeling they’re aiming for. Then I ask for reference tracks that capture the style and vibe they’re going for with their project. This helps me understand not just the technical direction, but also the emotion and identity behind the music, so I can tailor my work to match their vision as closely as possible.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: My strongest skill is being able to take an artist’s demo and turn it into the best version of itself—polished, emotional, and radio-ready—without losing the original spark. I have a strong ear for understanding what the artist is going for, even if it’s not fully formed yet, and I know how to translate that into a finished production that feels intentional and professional. Whether it’s through mixing, vocal production, or subtle creative touches, I’m able to bring out the song’s full potential while staying true to the artist’s vision.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: Whether I’m mixing, mastering, or adding production elements, my goal is always to elevate the track while staying true to the artist’s vision. I focus on clarity, emotional impact, and commercial readiness—making sure every detail serves the overall feel of the song. I also bring a collaborative mindset, offering ideas when needed but always keeping the artist’s identity and intention at the center of the process.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: I’m inspired by engineers like Serban Ghenea, Teezio, and Jaycen Joshua—masters of clarity, depth, and punch who consistently deliver mixes that sound massive yet detailed. On the production side, I look up to Benny Blanco, Max Martin, and Mike Dean for their ability to craft hits that feel both innovative and timeless. What really drives me is how these professionals elevate a song without losing the essence of the artist’s vision—something I aim to achieve in every project I take on.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: The most common type of work I do is taking a client’s demo or rough idea and turning it into a polished, release-ready song that stays true to their vision. Whether it’s mixing and mastering, vocal production, or adding creative touches to finish the track, my focus is always on enhancing what’s already there—not changing it. I listen closely to what the artist wants, draw inspiration from their references, and use my experience in Pop, R&B, and Trap to shape a sound that feels intentional, emotional, and radio-ready—while keeping their input at the center every step of the way.

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: What I like most about my job is getting to meet incredibly talented musicians and helping their work shine. There’s something really rewarding about taking someone’s raw idea or demo and helping them turn it into a fully realized track that they’re proud of. Being part of that creative process—and knowing I played a role in bringing their vision to life—is what makes this work so fulfilling.
