I'm a professional musician, active as a bass player mostly, with more than 25 albums released in my country for several very known artists from Romania. I'm active in the music industry for the past 30 years and now I have my own studio willing to record on your upcoming songs.

I will provide you quality bass tracks using all my bass guitars, preamps, fretless bass, for any kind of genre.

I look forward to collaborate with you and bring your songs to light. I work very fast and I put a special attention on details which I love and always did. I am available to record covers as well.

My main influences as bass players are : Jaco Pastorius, Pino Palladino, Anthony Jackson, Marcus Miller, John Patitucci, Nathan East, Victor Wooten, Victor Bailey, Decebal Badila, Richard Bona, and the list can go on.

My main preferred genres are : R&B, Pop, Blues, Funk, Soul, Motown, Jazz, Fusion, Country, but I can mold myself on any other genre.

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Studio Musician, Live Musician

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: Both! Analog because of its warmth and digital because we need technology swell.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: I like that I can be creative every time.

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: I would suggest to hire the most skilled bass players in terms of rhythmicity, melody and feels!

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: I would take my fretless bass and my Ken Smith one, my laptop, my headphones, and my audio interface.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: I started to play the mandolin when I was 7 and then I took some guitar lessons and then I moved on the bass which remained my main instruments from then. I have been doing this for over 35 years.

  13. Q: How would you describe your style?

  14. A: My style would be something rhythmic and melodic in the same time.

  15. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  16. A: One of my dreams would be to play with Bruno Mars and his whole band, due to their sound and their skills.

  17. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  18. A: Always do your low cuts!

  19. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  20. A: I work on R&B and Pop music mostly.

  21. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  22. A: My strongest skill is my groove and my creativity.

  23. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  24. A: I bring grooves, quality tones and very clear sounding tracks.

  25. Q: What's your typical work process?

  26. A: Depends on what my client asks, if it's a cover I would listen to it until I get every note and details right where it should be. And if I have to improvise, or to compose something, I would play the backing track and improvise a bit until I get an idea of where I should take the song, musically speaking.

  27. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  28. A: I use Avalon U5 preamp, Chandler TG2-500, Antelope Orion audio interface, Warm Audio Tube EQ (Pultec), Warm Audio LA-2A Compressor, Warm Audio boost compressor, Eve SC307 Audio Monitors, Meze Classic 99 headphones.

  29. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  30. A: Max Martin, Hans Zimmer, Guthrie Govan

  31. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  32. A: Recording bass tracks in the studio.
