Robby East on SoundBetter

Professional dance music producer making your ideas sound professional and ready for release 100M+ streams | Spinnin' Records, Armada Music, This Never Happened, Future House Music

Do you want your tracks to sound professional and ready to be released by your favorite label? Look no further!

I specialize in finalizing tracks and bringing out that last 20% a song needs to sound polished, balanced and up to industry standards. I have over 100 million streams on Spotify and I've worked with top labels like Spinnin' Records, Armada Music, This Never Happened, Future House Music and many more.

Upon receiving your request, we will discuss together what your project needs, be it just mastering, mixing or additional production (layering/sample replacement) and make a plan tailored to you. I will need the following from you:
- All stems (wav) without sidechain
- Main elements (vocals/leads/bass) dry and wet
- A full mix render (wav)
- A reference mix/master

Turnaround times are around 5 (business) days and I will keep going until you are satisfied with the end project. Each project is different, but the below prices should give an indication of the costs:

Mastering - €75
Polishing mixing + mastering - €200
Full mixing (additional production included) + mastering - €300

Feel free to reach out for any other projects like ghost productions or for any other questions! I usually reply within a day.

I had the pleasure of working with Robby as a provider on my latest project "Break Your Heart" and I can't express enough how impressed I am with his professionalism and musical expertise.

Robby not only demonstrated his breadth of knowledge of the industry and also brought a unique flair to my track and truly elevated its quality. His attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality results which was evident during the process. I'll definitely be coming back to work with Robby!

Just had the pleasure of having Robby East mix and master my remix for Thomas Gold, and I'm pumped about the experience.

Robby's work is pure gold – the sound is tight, polished, and way beyond what I hoped for. Plus, he's like a ninja with turnaround time, quick but deadly accurate.

Working with him was a blast. Super pro, but also brings a fun vibe to the table. Open to ideas and easygoing, making the whole process a joyride.

If you need someone for mixing and mastering, Robby East is your guy. Killer quality, speedy, and seriously fun to work with. Can't wait for the next round! 🚀🎶

Interview with Robby East

  1. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  2. A: My one music production tip would be to get familiar with different EQ types and use them for different functions, especially when boosting frequencies. Boosting with analog EQ (emulators) yields much better results than doing the same with a stock EQ or a FF Pro-Q for example.

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: I work on electronic music, mainly specializing in the more 'chill' kinds of dance music.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: My strongest skill is the finishing touch of the track, after 10+ years of production experience and multiple years of experience as an A&R for a professional music label, I can quickly pinpoint what is lacking in a track to get it up to industry standards.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: A professional and experienced touch to bring out the best of the project and put the finishing touches on it to make it ready to be sent out to labels, other DJs or even radio stations etc.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: First I organize the project in a workflow that fits me (grouping and routing drums, instruments, vocals and FX together) and start by identifying which sounds need special attention or even replacement/layering. Then I'll move onto mixing and balancing all the tracks and applying EQ, compression and any other effects and finally I'll move onto mastering the track by meticulously comparing it to 'professional' tracks by professional artists who make similar music and trying to get it up to that level.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I have a studio in Amsterdam running Logic Pro X with Adam T5V & Yamaha HS8 monitors. I produce/mix mostly in the box with plugins from FabFilter, Waves, SoundToys and various others.

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: Lane 8, fred again.., CamelPhat, Ben Böhmer

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: I specialize in taking projects that are closed to finished to a professional level by replacing/layering samples and instruments, mixing and balancing the tracks and finally mastering to get the track on par with other, professional releases.
