Army Bandsman and Masters Jazz Sax student. Looking to get more time behind the microphone and playing on tracks. The frontman for a Mardi Gras-style group in the AL Army Band. Privileged to have played with jug bands, jazz bands, street bands, sax ensembles, and pit orchestras, to name a few. Would love to offer my voice on the sax for you!
Relatively new home microphone setup but I have condenser and dynamic mics at my disposal. Working off of a MacBook Pro. Recorded in a studio in 2023 for the band Soul Karnival.
Mainly a tenor player, but I have an alto and bari at my disposal as well.
Selmer Mark VI tenor (1961) with a HR mouthpiece, my tone is generally described to be on the “darker” side.
Undergrad was in General Music from the University of Montevallo (AL).
Masters is in Saxophone Performance, with a concentration in jazz and commercial music (2nd year) at Middle Tennessee State (TN).
