I am 20th century rock stylist. From glam to grunge, lead, rhythm, acoustic, and bass guitars. Recent studio credits include Ellison Scott, Maurice Aucoin, Kyle Boudreau, and Elise Besler
While I'm new here on SoundBetter, I am a working musician with decades of studio & live experience. I studied audio production in Toronto at the Harris Institute in the mid 1990s, and have produced & engineered my own releases as a singer-songwriter. Additionally I have produced releases for several other artists, most notably Elise Besler's "Lean In" (2016), and "Truth" (2018), both of which were nominated for a Nova Scotia Music Week Award, and an East Coast Music Award.
Additional fun fact, I have performed as Gene Simmons in Nova Scotia based KISS tribute band Dressed 2 Kill since 2011.

Interview with Scott Harnish
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: In May 2020 I released my debut solo EP under the name Ellison Scott. I wrote, produced, played, programmed, and sang every part, right down to the mix and the master.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on a sophomore Ellison Scott release.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. I'm a believer in using whatever tool you have available to you to get the job done. But also, sometimes the client has a preference.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I run a Universal Audio Apollo 8 Quad with a UAD Quad Satellite into an Intel iMac running ProTools 2023.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm usually asked to create multiple lead & rhythm parts for their songs.
