Skilled keyboard player with jazz degree and experience in folk, pop, and rock. I am great at listening to a song and figuring out the right part, whether you need acoustic piano, Rhodes, Wurli, or organ. I have a mastery of the keyboard and a professional set of sounds to choose from (including a tuned and mic'd upright piano!)
I am an Austin-based pianist and singer-songwriter. I have a technical mastery of the piano, having spent many years competing as a classical pianist as well as earning a degree in Jazz Studies from Northwestern University. I am easygoing and good at communicating, and will make sure I understand what you are looking for and how I can best contribute to your song!
I play keys with several Austin groups including Nossas Novas, a Brazilian bossa nova and tropicalia band. I also lead my own folk/Americana singer-songwriter project with influences including Wilco, John Prine, and Big Thief.
