Interview with stav

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Precisely from the album I'm currently working on, they have been the most sincere songs with the most feelings that I have heard in a long time, I can't wait for the whole album to come out!

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: On an alternative rock album by an artist from my country who is easily the most talented person I know

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I'm new to this platform and I honestly don't know anyone.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: As I said, I usually go digital, not for anything specific, but because since I was little I did everything on the computer and I ended up getting used to that.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: What I always deliver, high quality work, I give you my word and that is the last thing I lose, if I promise a good sound it is because I know I can achieve it and I will deliver it

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Everything, I feel like I found the meaning of my life and what I want to do with the rest of it. The world of music seems beautiful to me and I never intend to leave it.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: They asked me a lot about how long it would take to have their work ready and the truth is that I can have it in a week to listen to it on different days and try to improve it until it reaches the best possible sound.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Being too perfectionist and always thinking that it can be better

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I think that when working with special clients the main thing is to focus on the details, the details make perfection, so I would surely start there by asking if you have something specific in mind or what thing, no matter how small it may seem, you can tell me to contribute to the production.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: To have things clear to give you a better delivery of what you are really looking for

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: What every producer would carry, a computer or laptop, studio headphones, sound card, microphone and a MIDI keyboard to let creativity fly

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: 7 years ago, I am currently 19, but since I was little I was very interested in all kinds of musical genres until one time the question arose: "How do they do all that?" Question that completely marked me more than 7 years ago because with that question I discovered the purpose of my life

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: A clean style in which I focus on current music

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I usually mix songs from start to finish at the artist's discretion.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio is more focused on multiple monitoring and not so much equipment since I got more used to digital than analog

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Many producers and artists that I have listened to since an early age such as Dr. Dre, George Martin, Evlay, among others. I have been interested in this for more than 7 years and I have acquired a great experience.
