I give a shit. And I get shit done. Whether it's laying down a tasty, fat backbeat on a funky blues track or dialing in the last bit of EQ and compression on the mix bus, I want your music to sound as exciting as an F-18 taking off the flight deck. Honestly, I'm an 8.25 out of 10 in the drumming world, and I'm rapidly improving my chops as a mixing engineer (my SoundGym bona fides indicate I'm a 6.5 out of 10). My rates are commensurate with my experience, but what you'll get is a talented drummer who excels at many genres, or an engineer with a strong technical background and great ear for production. If the song calls for a Mozambique groove or a "Purdie shuffle", I'm spending time to get it right (at no extra cost to you). If your mix is lacking the "sheen" or low-end thump, I won't stop until you've got a 2-track that keeps you up at night (in a good way). I routinely practice mixing on multi-tracks (royalty), so I cannot post them without permission. However, I'm happy to share my work via email.
