After cutting my teeth in the industry as an assistant at Circle Studios in Birmingham, England, I spent some time touring as a front of house/monitor engineer. This wide scope of work has taught me that the song is always the boss - approaching any mix with this at the forefront has always serviced me well whether submitting a mix to the label, or mixing for tens of thousands of people on a mainstage festival.
