Interview with Noel Sommerkamp
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I do everything ITB, meaning I do not use any outboard equipment in the mixing stage. This enables me to work incredibly fast and also keep the costs low - which in return greatly benefits the artist.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm mostly inspired by modern mixing engineers like Buster Odeholm or Will Putney, who are among the most thriving modern Metal and Hardcore producers out there.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm usually responsible for all steps after the recording process of a Rock/Metal/Hardcore band: I do the editing, post production, mixing and mastering!
