Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Just HYBRID. Analog gear brings warmth, character, and tactile control, capturing the nuances of sound in a way that's often revered. A: I love bringing a song to life, making it the best version of itself. It's rewarding to see raw tracks transform into a polished masterpiece.

A: Question: "How long will it take to get my song mixed?" Answer: "Typically, it takes 3-5 days for a single track, but it can vary based on the complexity of the song and my current workload." Question: "Can you make it sound like [popular song/artist]?" Answer: "I can definitely use that as a reference and aim for a similar vibe, but every song is unique. I'll ensure your track retains its individuality while capturing the essence of the sound you're after." Question: "How many revisions do I get?" Answer: "You get two free revisions. It's important to me that you're satisfied with the mix, so I encourage detailed feedback." Question: "What do you need from me to start mixing?" Answer: "I'll need the individual track stems, preferably in WAV format, along with any specific instructions or references you have." Question: "Do you also master tracks?" Answer: "I specialize in mixing, but I can provide a basic mastering service. However, for a commercial release, I'd recommend a dedicated mastering engineer."

A: The biggest misconception is that mixing is just about adjusting volume levels. In reality, it's an art of balance, space, and emotion. I don't just make sounds louder or softer; I shape the sonic landscape, ensuring each element has its place and the track evokes the desired emotion.

A: From bedroom mixing to a state-of-the-art acoustically treated studio, my 15-year mixing journey has been a blend of passion and precision.

With my expertise, I ensure that every element in the track shines in its rightful place, from the subtle nuances of an instrument to the powerful delivery of vocals. By balancing the technical with the artistic, I transform good recordings into memorable musical experiences.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Initial Consultation: I start by discussing the artist's vision, understanding the emotion they want to convey, and any specific requirements or influences they have in mind. Raw Track Analysis: Before diving in, I listen to the raw tracks multiple times, making notes on elements that stand out and areas that need enhancement. Balancing & EQ: I begin by setting levels, ensuring each instrument and vocal has its own space in the mix. EQ adjustments are made to clarify and enhance the sound. Dynamics Processing: Compression, limiting, and other dynamic tools are applied to ensure a consistent and impactful sound. Effects & Space: Reverb, delay, and other effects are added judiciously to create depth and atmosphere. Stereo Imaging: I ensure the mix has a wide and immersive stereo image, placing elements in the soundstage for a full listening experience. Feedback Loop: Once the initial mix is done, I send it to the artist for feedback. This collaborative process ensures the final mix aligns with their vision. Revisions: Based on feedback, I make necessary adjustments. This might go through a few cycles until the artist is satisfied. Finalization: Once approved, I'll do a final check, ensuring the mix translates well on various playback systems. The track is then prepared for mastering. Delivery: The final mix, along with any stems or alternate versions requested, is delivered to the artist or mastering engineer. Throughout the process, open communication is key. I believe in a collaborative approach, ensuring the artist's vision is at the forefront of every decision
