Depeche Mode/Muse style warm baritone vocalist. I specialize in catchy, melancholic vocal melodies. Electronica/Synthpop/Rock music producer.
Hey!
I'm Samuel.
I'm bass guitar/synth player and professional vocalist (warm baritone) with fluent English accent. I produce Electronica / Dark Pop / Synth Pop / IDM / Rock music. I specialise in catchy, melancholic vocal melodies and energetic bass guitar riffs. I play as a session musician in local music projects as well as I produce music for other artists.
I'm working remotely as a Music Producer, Vocalist and instrumentalist. Have experience working with producers worldwide on Melodic Techno, 80s, Post Punk, Alternative, Synth Pop, Synth Wave, House & other genres productions.
I'd love to help you to make your track sound full and if you're lost in production I can help you fill it with vocals and synths, bass, guitars.
As a vocalist I always look for a "blue note" to add to music. I specialize in composing simple, but deep and mature melodies with tonne of feelings. Check my vocals on my soundcloud and Spotify.
Feel free to DM me first and ask me before buying the gig, I'd love to know how I can put a part of my soul into your music.

Interview with Samuel Blaymore
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Order - it just kicks ass in every possible way.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Ay, best mixer engineer I had pleasure to work with: Pawel Tekieli
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What would be the best for the song. And I tell'em: Most of vocal production technics will sound best when you have stacked vocals and harmonies with them, so mostly I answer with full vocal pack :handshake
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Everyone has one, I'm for sure not being lazy on any of the music I work on.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What made them make the song. It makes it much easier for me to
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I will be practical here: tent, knife, 10 tonnes of food (just in case), some booze and clothes. I know I missed the point, duh.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Producers in type of my likes, Electronica, Alternative, IDM, Art-Rock genres as well as soft piano + vocal minimalistic songs. And Thom Yorke for sure.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronica, Indie Dance, Synthpop, Art-Rock, IDM.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I know when to say stop to dreaming and help others release their music. Goood. So many amazing Artists out there.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Catchy melancholic/dash vocal melodies and guitar/synth bass grooviness. I can help you arrange your indie dance song with vocals, write lyrics and if you want add some synths to your production.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Rightyo. Mostly I use RODE NT1 for vocals, sometimes SM58 (ay, still it kicks asses in Rock productions) and Neumann TLM 103. My synth setup for production and gigs is: Korg Minilogue and Moog Matriarch, but hope to get Prophet 5 asap. Fender Bass guitar is my default for productions.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by Depeche Mode - selection of their sound. Muse with its creativity and Moderat for raw sound and amazing production/mix effect.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm between rebel psycho punk and soft electronics. I feel comfortable in the full range of music. In my opinion genre is not important. The soul that artist put in the song and the topics make it "alive". A form of energy.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When I receive a song I start to jam on it vocally or with instrument. In case of vocals I let myself try 3-5 different melodies and change atmosphere to know what idea would fit the best.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Misoma project - english Alternative Rock and Electronic band. Working on full album. Co-producing from scratch, recording synthesizer, guitars, vocals and FXs.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog in case of instruments recording. Digital is less organic. When putting yourself in analog instrument you can bring much more expression to the song. Create something one of a kind.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Always best of myself in your production. I come up with many ideas which helps in finding the best one in your song.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Unlimited variety of options, which makes this a joruney.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Remember to very clearly describe your idea. Always use ref-links. It's easy to misunderstood each other, it's all matter of how detailed you can explain your thoughts.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Guitarist since: 2010 Producing since: 2019 Synthplayer since: 2020 Bassist since: 2021 Vocalist since: 2011
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Let yourself (I dare you) not care about the effect, but about the fun from process of making art. This is where the most original sound comes from. Don't copy. Create.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly I create vocal melodies, record synths and bass as well as produce full song.
