Dr. Steve Lindeman is a seasoned composer (having earned a Ph.D. in music history and theory) and keyboard player, with decades of experience crafting his own musical language. Recently relocated to Los Angeles, he spent a number of years studying, performing, teaching, and composing in New York City, and Salt Lake City. Rich in personality and character, his music is described as having "lush sonorities and unusual instrumental combinations, episodic shifts, extended silences."
As a performer, he has worked with a diverse range of artists in a plethora of genres, including John Mellencamp (keyboards on "Chestnut Street Incident'"), Bob Mintzer, Alex Acuña, The Drifters, Darmon Meader, numerous Broadway musical pit orchestras, and many other solo artists and groups.
