Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I’m blessed and grateful to have been involved in too many to mention.

A: I have several projects open. In various phases
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Richard Curran Is an excellent string player cello, viola and violin a friend turned me onto him and he has become an important part of my sound. Even though he is in England and I am in Detroit.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital cause ain’t nobody got time for that.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always be honest and direct and give you my best.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being creative

A: How much per hour? $60 per hour However, some money is not worth making.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: They see all the gear and think I’m rich

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 35 years of performing live started making recordings in 1985 on a four track went to music school right after high school worked with many engineers on my 15 Records started doing it for myself and then my peers wanted my help. Got my first studio in 2005

A: Energetic positive open minded, confident in decision-making.

A: The Beatles Duh.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Have a clear idea of what you’re trying to do And get the sound you’re looking for in the very beginning. Don’t fix it in the mix.

A: Singer Song Writer Soul funk blues rock Adult contemporary jazz, heavy metal.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Having a clear idea of what the finished product looks like before we start painting and Getting a group of musicians on the same page to paint an audio picture together!

A: A funky vintage retro feel and vibe.

A: Tirelessly but effortless until it’s right.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The Sound Shop Studio is a 3000 sq ft commercial studio 25 minutes north east of Detroit. Since 2011 we have been dedicated to making art for the right reasons! Making great music is the only reason to do what we do! Lots of great gear, of course, but the most important thing about the studio that separates it from others is our great house band of studio musicians. Everyone of these players has dedicated their life to making art for arts, sake and complain any style Sorry No rap or hip-hop. We pride ourselves in making real music with real instruments. The good old-fashioned way we perform as much of the instruments together as a group as possible. We firmly believe this is why all the music of the past is way better!
