Interview with Kieran Greig
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work from my home studio where I run Pro Tools. I have an embarrassing number of plugins I've collected over the years. I cannot get enough! I love using pedals to process sounds and using my synths and samples to get interesting layers.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired mainly by metal artists and bands; however, I love hearing the blend of industrial-type music with today's metal. A lot of synths and layering, it is great to hear!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I often record, mix, and master bands that come in to work with me. I also produce these bands and help develop their songs. I enjoy the songwriting process as well, something I'm quite passionate about!
