Why resort to AI for lyrics when you can get an actual human with a strong background in creative writing, English literature (Langara College class of 2014), as well as classical and contemporary music studies? I have been writing for as long as I can hold a pencil and have decided to offer my skills as a lyricist to fellow musicians. My lyrics have been described in the past as heartfelt, inspiring, and introspective.

I have music signed to multiple international dance music labels, including Yeiskomp, TranceX Records, and Sounds of Meow, and I have written the lyrics to all those tracks myself. I also have a fiction novel, The Jet Racer by Andy Davids, published on Amazon as a testament to my writing ability. I can provide samples of lyrics I've done upon request.

I am highly sensitive and deeply in tune with the world around me. Everything I write comes from deep within. Some of my favourite lyrics to write are those honouring the loss of a loved one and those about living in the moment and loving life. I take great pride in my work, therefore requests for lyrics relating to hateful (racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist etc) or excessively violent subject matter will be refused.

Interview with Time Geometry

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ear for music and my restless mind for creativity.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: In today's age of lyric-generating software, there's just something special about that human touch that you can't get from a machine.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My uplifting trance track No Need for Hate featuring NELLY TGM. It was my first ever collaboration with an international artist and carries a lot of deep meaning for me. It was written about my own experiences with racism growing up as a person of colour and to spread the positive message to everyone that there is no need for hate.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to be creative and help my clients get what's on their mind onto paper (or more accurately, Word Document haha!)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop (since it has my DAW and all my plugins on it), laptop charger, audio interface, and a pair of speakers.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been involved with creative writing and music my entire life, and have been writing my own lyrics for as long as I've known how to write a song. After getting compliments on how heartfelt, inspiring, and introspective my lyrics are, I've decided to offer lyric writing as a service for fellow musicians and producers.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Gareth Emery. His music has such a cinematic touch to it, and his lyrics just make you feel all the feels. After being so inspired by Saving Light (no shame, I still cry tears of happiness every time I hear that song), I aspired to write music that has that kind of profound emotional effect on listeners, because that's what makes it memorable.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never give up!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I love working with all genres though my biggest love is going to be uplifting trance because it is also my favourite genre to produce. You just can't feel sad when you're listening to uplifting trance.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write lyrics to go with the music they have composed/arranged based on the themes and mood they want to capture.
