Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Actually, it all started long 25+ years ago when I got interested in music production and was learning all by myself from complete zero. But then there was a 15 year break when I just didn't have time for music, and I could come back only after moving to Dubai. So since 2017 I began taking part in remix competitions, and since 2020 me and my wife started a YouTube channel where we are recording saxophone covers. So I can say that my real full-cycle expertise dates from COVID. And my recent achievement is Audio Engineering certificate after completing a short course at SAE, Dubai, in May 2024.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, hard drive with libraries, Maschine MK3, headphones, and keys like M32. Hopefully they have power supply there ;)
