Themis Bekos on SoundBetter

Since 2011, he started working as a sound engineer and established his own studio, composing for local bands and releasing his first tracks as a beat maker and sound engineer. Since 2014, he has been actively involved in the music industry as a producer, composer, and sound engineer, using the pseudonym M.O. Nomad.

Hello! My name is M.O. Nomad, and I am a Mixing & Mastering engineer from Greece. I have worked on over 500 tracks with loyal clients for many years. Beyond my experience in the Rap/Trap music genre and the refined aesthetic I have developed over the years, I have also worked in various other music genres and different audio fields. Additionally, I have two fully equipped music studios in Greece. I hold a degree in sound engineering, have worked in various studios, and have 20 years of music studies (degrees in harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, lute, Byzantine music). I believe I can handle any demanding project. I enjoy communicating with my clients and am open to exploring different versions of the songs.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

I've been involved in sound engineering for 9 years, started professionally releasing my work at the age of 16, graduated from two sound engineering schools, and have a satisfactory resume in the Greek music industry

  9. Q: How would you describe your style?

  10. A: I find it strange and alternative since I enjoy experimenting and not limiting my sound palette.

  11. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  13. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: My biggest influence growing up was M.O.P and araabmuzik. Concurrently, due to my studies at the conservatory and in classical music, I was exposed to various music genres that piqued my interest

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: To achieve a pleasing aesthetic mix with subpar execution and strive to make it the best it can be

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: Coffee, listening, work.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: Usually on Rap / Trap Genres

  24. A: I typically provide clarity, intensity, and spatial dimension. I tend to increase the LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale) without introducing distortion.

  25. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  26. A: My setup is both straightforward and complex. I have a space that acoustically performs very well with an excellent monitoring system. It has great accuracy and translates well to other sound systems without issues. Additionally, my space is creatively inspiring. I have four workstations and two synths on standby, along with a microphone. I also have various outboard gear that aids in inspiration and the creation of unique distorted sounds.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: I usually work on pieces with multiple melodies and tuning using Melodyne. I also take on jobs that require restoration.
