Interview with Sharril
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My favorite was this past year singing for the Church program. I sang a mixture of hymns and new Christian songs live for the congregation and doing two services every Sunday I perform.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do my best and be honest
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to help people feel uplifted with a song.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many people think Gospel music is boring but the more you listen to the positive messages and lyrics, the more you will want to hear about Jesus and wanting a relationship with HIM and all his goodness and love.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I am honest and still new to this app but I will sing my very best because I know that I love singing and I always will.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Bible, guitar, paper, pen, water filter
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 6 years in the church and before that I was in magnet programs for music in my school years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I love Christian music,whether it's rock, gospel, pop or just a hymnal. I love a song from every category Christian music.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Charity Gayle. I love her style of music and diversity.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Gospel
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Singing and communicating
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Energy, Soul, and God's message for the people.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I practice during the week, then sing on Sunday.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I don't have one, I sing live at my Church.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I enjoy listening to Gospel Singers and band. Charity Gayle, Cee Cee Wynans, We the Kingdom. I also sing hymnals and choral music
