With over a decade of experience playing music, and First Class Honours in BSc Music Technology, I offer a holistic approach to all facets of my musical practice. Adopting an “artist first” philosophy, according to a client’s needs and vision, my production and mixing embraces the uniqueness of the artist and their work.
At age 7, I started playing violin, going on to achieve grade 8, including music theory, helping develop an in-depth understanding of music from a technical standpoint. This developed further as I started playing the drums, bass guitar, and 6-string guitar over the following years, performing and recording in various bands and orchestras.
Through playing various instruments and listening to a variety of styles of music, I have cultivated an appreciation for music which transcends genres and periods. Having such a passion for music, I recognised the varying sonic characteristics of my favourite albums, sparking an interest in studio production, engineering, and mixing, wanting to uncover what takes a great song, and turns it into an iconic recording.
This pursuit led me to study BSc Music Technology at Birmingham City University and its accompanying conservatoire, from which I graduated in 2022 achieving a First Class degree with Honours.
I left university with a drive to enter the industry as an producer/engineer/mixer, and an ambition to create work that helps artists fulfil their creative vision and break new ground in the world of music.
My motivation is to enable my clients to fulfil their creative vision with a close working partnership, and a holistic view of all facets of music creation, keeping the end result in mind every step of the way.
