Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: "Ask your mamma" San Francisco ballet orchestra and The Roots. This was and amazing project that took so many amazing people to complete. It also won my second grammy for "Best Classical Album" Which was always a goal of mine coming up through the industry

A: Whats your favorite mic? Depends on what it's recording

A: That the work just gets done on it's own. Not everyone has the ear, but a lot of people have luck

A: Feel out who feels like they would be the best fit for you artistically

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started very young in studios, and haven't left since. about 23 years now

A: Laid back and precise

A: Cake. They are just super original and i'd love to be in the studio with them

A: If it sounds good, it is good. Trust your ears not the computer screen

A: Long time experience and many different perspectives. I have worked with many in artists in many genres so i love to bring different genres together

A: Depends on if I'm writing or mixing for a client. I always like to talk with a client first to get a feel for what their end goal is

A: I have a 9.1.4 Atmos studio with various outboard gear including Neves, Tree audio. My studio runs on focusrite dante
