Tired of hearing the same. Let's do something different. Harto de escuchar la misma vaina. Hagamos algo distinto
Hi, I'm Seghel. I am an 18-year-old music producer from Perú. The thing I love the most about working on music production is bringing into reality the vision the artist has. Everybody has a different concept and idea, and turning that into a real song is a challenge that encourages me every day. I specialize in rock, pop, and urban latin music. My last production is called "Voy a regresar" from a band called Quebranta, in which I was the main guitarist. We tried to capture the essence of Hispanic rock music inspired by artists such as "Juanes" "Santana" and "Mana". When I work on a song, I seek to make every song to have its own soul and stand out from the rest.

Interview with SEGHEL
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I wont stop until i get the best result
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, as he is an incredible singer and multi-instrumentalist and someone who I've always looked up to. I'm a big fan of his music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: First, it is very useful to try to recreate a song that you like or watch deconstructions; it really gives you an idea of how it is done. And second, let yourself be bad because nobody is born knowing everything.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Rock en español, rock, trap, reggueton
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I believe would be my guitar skills as I've been for more than 5 years
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I've been surrounded by all types of music since I was young. From the most mainstream commercial songs to the regional music of my country, my mom even had her own group of traditional music. I believe that gives me a wide panorama that I can use to add more to the songs I work on. And also my constant look for perfection.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I have a call with my clients to get to know them, their goal, their inspirations, music they are keen on and talk about what they are looking for. Then start working and present some inital ideas until one is approved and from there go ahead until the song is completed.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: When talking about music production, there are two producers that inspire me: Finneas for his originality and Tainy due to his simplicity.
