My name is Francesco Inverno, I'm a professional drummer with two university degrees in music (percussions, and pop drums). I've worked as a session man worldwide and I've recorded hundreds of tracks in different genres of music, especially: Pop, Electronic, Rock, Jazz, Soul, RnB, and Hip Hop.

I work in an amazing recording studio in Italy with two sound engineers and a producer.
We will discuss, by email or call, what references we should use when working on your tracks, what sounds you would like to have, etc..
Our studio has three recording rooms, with different acoustic characteristics : a booth room, a medium room and a big room.
Our default package consists of multitracks, WAV file HQ stereo mix, Electronic drums/percussion if needed, 2 different takes (but we can agree on something different according to your needs).
Then we will agree on a date by which the tracks will be sent to you. As a professional working studio, we have to schedule you in.
We are professionals with years of experience and we've already produced recordings for different music publishers (Universal Music Group etc.).

Interview with Francesco Inverno

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: It’ll depend on the situation and what is needed! Usually, we record the drum tracks on a fully analog chain and we work with digital to suggest to clients some specific effects, or, when needed, to make electronic drums, although we have fantastic analog drum machines.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Although I mostly work on pop, jazz, rock, electronic, and hip-hop productions, I often contribute to projects for the realisation of soundtracks, as I also have a degree in classical percussion.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: One of the BlackDeerStudio's sound engineers and I usually arrange a video call with the artist in order to discuss the artist's vision for the music: their references, what equipment will best answer their needs, which recording room will be the most suitable one, etc. We also offer the possibility of producing and recording rough demos as a sort of preview of the final product.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce and record live drum tracks, and do drum programming, beat-making, and editing. Together with my colleagues, we produce, record, and do the mixing and mastering of tracks from start to finish.
