Interview with Dryniel

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually record a small melody test on the song including verse, pre and chorus, to agree on the overall vibe and vocal color of the song with the client. When the melody is defined I start experimenting with lyrics and send a rough take for the client to approve. After this I start recording a vocal Lead, I add Dups, Harmonies and Ad libs. I deliver a final comp on the Vocals and I also like to send some extra takes and ideas so the client can edit from and produce to taste.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Situated in Lima, Santa Ana 181, Peru. My home studio is confirmed by Ableton Live, Pro Tools, LA2A, UAD Pre Amp, Apollo Solo, Rode NT1 and AT2020.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm a topline writer, singer and producer who can provide songwriting, producing, vocal recording and editing on a song. I like to take my time in every production to make sure every client is fully satisfied! I also ask for vocal references as I'm very versatile and can adapt my style to the client's vision for the song.
