I´m a young mixing engineer and producer from mexico, with a lot of passion for music, i love to help artists create their music and be a part of the process, I graduated from college as an audio engineer and know how to use multiple DAWs

My name is Mauricio Romero, I´m a recently graduated audio engineer who is very passionate about music, i offer my services in mixing, mastering and producing song for people, but i tend to focus on mixing because is my favorite part on producing a song, i´ve been mixing songs for 4 years now, i have experience in pop, rock, heavy metal, house, etc., also i use pro tools, reaper, fl studio and ableton, and i like to be in touch with my clients so we can achieve the same goals with the songs that i work with.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: i think my first song of the next EP called "Without Your Love" because it started as a final project in college but then i produced like it was my baby, and was my first song where i singed

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: i´m currently working on to songs for my first ep, and mixing a song for a local band called polar fenix

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: i think hibrid, you can get pretty good sounds from both analog and digital

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: i promise that my job is finished when you are satisfied

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: i love working on music and helping people create music

  14. A: what daw am i gonna use, how long i´ve been doing this, how many revisions do i give, and how long it´s gonna take to finish the mix

  16. A: i think that was thinking that every channel must have a plugin

  18. A: what song could you use as a reference for the song? what atist inspire you? what do you want to tell the people with this song?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: be clear in the idea that you have of the song and tell me, so we can be in the same channel

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: a computer with ableton, my headphones, a midi keyboard, a focusrite scarlett solo and anakg c414 microphone

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: i graduated as an audio engineer in ITEA which is my university in my hometown, i´ve been producing songs since i was 18 years old, and mixing since 19 years old

  26. A: i tend to be pretty funky in my productions, i just love making music that would make people dance

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: i think imagine dragons or bring me the horizon, i just love how they sound and i´m a big fan of their music

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: always take your time in making a good song, don´t settle for less and put your soul in your work

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: pop and rock

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: I am very versatile so I can easily adapt to change, and I know how to listen, so every opinion of my clients is listened to.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I will make sure that the elements are clearly heard in your song, and that it has a sound that is consistent with the genre that is being sought

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: first of all i organize each session that i work with, to have everything that i need where i need it, then i make a balance of the song, to have an idea of how i want the song to be, then i take care of the elements that i need to pay attention to, and finally apply FX to give that final touch and your song is done :)

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: it is pretty simple, just my computer where i have pro tools and ableton to work, with a casio midi keyboard, those are my main working tools, also i have a couple of guitars, and for monitoring at the time i use my akg 240 headphones, i jst love the way it sounds

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I think Avicii is my main inspiration, i really like imagine dragons and dua lipa, and i just love to make songs that can make you feel emotions

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I often do mixing and producing jobs
