My name is Lukas Kaskas, and i am a Music Producer and Songwriter from Colombia. I have developed my sound as a producer with Pop and R&B influences, while I like to merge these genres with my Latin roots. When artists or labels hire me is because they like my fresh sound, i love to experiment and try new things with music and that's what has differentiated me from other producers or beat makers. I also have a musical career, where i produce and write my songs, thus gaining recognition in the Latin music industry. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record vocals with my Shure SM7B microphone and my SSL 2+ interface, my trusted DAW is Logic Pro X but i also like to work in Ableton Live, I record MIDI with my Native Instruments Equipment like the Komplete Kontrol S25 and the Maschine MK2 and i work with my KRK Rokit 8" G4 Monitors.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love Pharrell Williams and FKA Twigs work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce ,write and record with them in a music session we schedule, then i edit and send a premix for my client and finally if the artist wants to release the song, i mix and master with my trusted engineer.
