I've been recording drum tracks remotely for over twenty-five years and from my current studio for twenty. I'd describe my forte, in terms of genres, as falling somewhere between the worlds of rock, pop, fusion and prog and I'm equally happy laying down singer/songwriter grooves or flamboyant progressive workouts-and whatever falls in between!
As well striving for the optimal drum part and performance I pride myself on my drum sound. To help in this process I have a huge selection of new and old Yamaha Recording Custom drums, vintage Ludwig snares and Zildjian cymbals. All of which are recorded through up to sixteen channels of excellent Daking Mic' Pre's.
In terms of the process, I just need your track to play to, preferably mixed without drums. A BPM is good too, though I can establish that. Then I just need your vision of how the drums should sound, with any suggestions of style etc. I'll then record a take and send you a stereo mp3. Once you're happy, after any revision, I'll send over the individual stems and a stereo mix.

After establishing a clear brief I'll produce a take in the time agreed. Turnaround will generally be quick. Revisions are no problem, more than three to be negotiated. Percussion, shaker etc no cost.
