Endorse Till SauerIt was always a pleasure to work with Till. Be it a rock/metal song or a sensitive ballad. Till has a feel for the right attitude and tone. The pitch is always Spot on. Till is a professional singer who, despite his very distinctive singing technique, manages to transport emotions. Till's motivation and contagious enthusiasm deserve special mention. I would work with Till again at any time.
Till is an excellent singer with a unique voice and a great vocal range, perfectly suited for those impossible-to-sing vocal lines that you know from classic rock and metal songs - which happens to be exactly the kind of hard-to-find voice I had been looking for everywhere! Since I found Till, he's my go-to guy for all productions where I need a male singer, be it rock, metal, indie, pop or a film soundtrack. He's so good, I've had clients of mine reach out to me asking to record with "that guy" they heard in my productions.
Great singer, easy to work with and a heart of gold! Recommended!
Interview with Till Sauer
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm fascinated by many musicians and producers from various genres. In general, I appreciate anything that has its own unique vibe, a sort of trademark, if you will. That's why artists like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd or Sting are just as significant to my musical yearnings as more contemporary figures like Devin Townsend or Dream Theater. It's all about having soul, the rest is secondary.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is primarily designed for high-quality vocal recording. For this purpose, I utilize a Brauner Phantom Classic microphone, which complements my vocal tone well. A pair of HS8 near-field monitors provide me with an incredibly accurate monitoring environment due to their precision. The Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 interface offers ample power and an additional "AIR" function that enhances the brilliance of high frequencies. I choose Steinberg's Cubase 12 as my preferred Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). The FabFilter Total Bundle covers everything a vocalist could desire in terms of effects and processing tools.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record my lead or backing vocals for the client. The client receives an audio sample and can directly specify desired changes, harmonies, or duplications. Most often, I sing pre-written lyrics provided to me by my client. In general, I enjoy working with demos, even if they're not sung perfectly. This way, I can still gain a good understanding of the song's message, allowing me to better tailor the mood and emotions to the client's wishes.
