Kev Bolus on SoundBetter

As a teenager mesmerised by the soundscapes of artists like JMJ, Depeche Mode and New Order amongst others, I turned my Amiga500 into a musicX MIDI workstation and never looked back. Now its Pro Tools and I'm still loving it.

Hi, I'm Kev and I offer professional audio production services to the music and film industry. I am primarily an audio mixer for recorded music but can also offer post production services in my 5.1 studio run out my converted garage in Wigan, Greater Manchester. My passion for high quality audio is relentless as is my attention to detail. I am always excited to find new projects and collaborations to work on. Give me a nudge via the contact button, it might just be epic!

Interview with Kev Bolus

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on an album by Talitha Rise called 'An Abandoned Orchid House'. It was a completely new genre for me, working with some very experienced and technical players. The album was in part, born from a personal tradgedy and I had to learn new processes very quickly. I became so emotionally invested in the music so that I could present a production faithful to the feelings in the songwriting. It was a beautiful project to work on and the songs still haunt and soothe me in equal measure.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
