Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: By the end of our collaboration you will have a song that is the right fit for your voice with a lyric that resonates with you on a personal level.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to write with Sade. Her tone and delivery is phenomenal.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: All my work is acoustic and electric guitar based.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skill is being able to write lyrics for other people that feel personal to them.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring strong hooks and a complete story arc to the songs I write.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I am inspired by any genre or artist that brings the craft of songwriting to the forefront. In terms of genre, I am influenced by Motown, Americana/Country, and Eighties Pop. Songwriters I admire are Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Carole King, Bruce Springsteen, Terence Trent D'Arby, Jason Isbell, Sade, Lenny Kravitz and Ben Harper

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Most recently I have been collaborating with singers who either present with an idea for a melody, or short chord progression. I will then develop these ideas into a full song as well as provided a completed draft of lyrics for the singer to use as is or amend to their liking.
