Amazing performance! Ronan is a great guitarist. The parts he came up with and recorded really work for the benefit of the song. I will surely come back to Ronan with more songs in the future.

Excellent working with Ronan, I can't recommend him highly enough as a session guitarist/producer. He really knows what he is doing and has been key in getting the best out of my song.

Exceptional guitarist but so much more than that. Has really brought my song to life with his creativity and overall feel for the track, Ronan "got the song" immediately. The best I have worked with on SoundBetter to date, highly recommended.
Interview with .
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My current studio setup is fairly compact, but totally optimised for guitar recording. I've got a medium sized control room with an adjacent isolation booth that I use to record vocals and guitar amps/cabs. I've got a wide array of equipment. I can cover most situations that arise.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love listening to other peoples songs. It's a privilege. Sometimes I get to hear a song before anybody else in the world.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I always like to ask about bands or artists that inspire my clients. It helps me to understand the direction a client is coming from.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: It varies. I work on lots of material. From Reggae to Rock, Country to Blues. Not sticking to one style helps me to bring fresh ideas to each project I work on.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would be my ability to really listen to a song and understand what's needed and more importantly what's not needed.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: It depends on the song. I can bring an extra melodic dimension, but I can also bring an aggressive element if the song requires it. Like I said, what I bring will totally depend on the song. I like to augment what's already there.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to listen to a song for a day or so before I record tracks for it. I don't like to jam out tracks on the fly. I like to think about what I'm going to play. I always ask myself the question, "What does this song need?". Then I go to work.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually do full guitar tracking for clients. Adding whatever the song requires.
