Hello! I'm Marilonah, a self-taught funk/fusion bassist hailing from the vibrant island of Curacao.
I've toured the world with Arp Frique & Family, performing at big festivals like,North Sea Jazz, KEXP, Womad, Flow, and Dekmantel. These experiences have not only sharpened my skills but also broadened my perspective on the transformative power of music.

I also write a lot. I've put pen to paper for over 100 lyrics and poems in different languages, which has expanded my creativity. DM for a peek
Beyond live performances, I've spent the last 10 years doing extensive recording work in prestigious studios, including Radio Nova in France and Red Bull Studios in Amsterdam. With 17 years of bass playing experience and a decade of studio recording work, I've had the privilege of recording and playing bass for a diverse range of genres and artists from around the globe, further expanding my musical versatility and understanding of different production styles.

I'm more than just a bassist, I also sing and produce different types of genre in Logic pro X. I'm a dedicated musician committed to delivering high-quality performances.
