Nowadays, most of the studio is heavily rely on virtual software, all they need is a single computer to complete all the post-production project: reduce costs abusively and improve efficiency blindly, they depend on computers and plug-ins, try to use digital software to emulate the hardware that produced the most memorable music ever. It turns out, however, cheap virtual software cannot restore legendary sounds -- instead, they destroy the natural aesthetics of music, making the music dull and unappealing. City Tape Studio's philosophy was to stick to the original recipe for making great albums: no compromise, no hesitation on costs: the elegant hardware and acoustic environment of our studio form the basis of that recipe.
