If you want real Boom Bap beats, I'm your guy!

*I'm a Hip Hop producer who specializes in Boom Bap beats. I've been producing for over 30 years as a hobby but have worked professionally in the music industry since the early 90s as an A&R, journalist, artist developer, publicist, broadcaster, and creative consultant.
*After leaving the music industry, I became a music teacher specializing in digital music production. I've been teaching since 2006. Most notably, I created the nation's longest running Hip Hop culture course for high school students, which has been endorsed by the California Department of Education and is now replicated at various high schools throughout the state.
*With that said, I produce Hip Hop music as a freelancer as it gives me more artistic freedom and doesn't confine me to industry politics and expectations. My style is Boom Bap production in the style of producers like DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Apollo Brown, 14KT, Alchemist, 9th Wonder, and Khrysis. Please keep in mind - I do not make trap or drill beats!
