I wear a lot of hats, but violin is my fanciest.
Started as a classical violinist --> Fiddler --> Viola --> Learned Guitar --> Started writing songs --> Sang those songs --> Won a national songwriting competition --> Learned Cello --> Film Composition (Ken Burns) --> Moved to LA --> A lot of studio work --> I love what I do.
I do a lot of studio string work on violin, viola and cello as well as string arrangements. I have 19 years of experience on the violin and grew up studying classically, then moved onto different styles -- there is no style that I can't jump in on, and I am a lover of all genres.
I specialize in pop string arrangements as well as folk-pop singing and songwriting.
