Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: This would be the movie "Wo sie ist" (What if). It was a real prestige-project, because Iris Berben was playing the mother. It was a huge privilege to write the music.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A movie about a girlfag who goes on a sexual-experimental journey.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like both.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To give my best.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The possibility to create something new.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Mostly I've been ask things like: "Can you write something like...." My answer is simply "No". I don't want to be a copy-cat.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: "What is this movie all about?" I ask this question because I never read the script.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A piano, Seqouia 12, Native Instruments, Ethno World 5. No more needed.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: For 5 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Depends on the music I write
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Tom Chaplin. In my opinion one of the most talented singers.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: No. Like a magician would say: "Never reveal your secrets" :-)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Scoring for movies.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Arrangement and composing.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: variety
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It all starts with an idea/melody. When the melody is recorded, everything else takes place; the arrangement, the right instruments, etc.

A: I'm inspired by John Williams and James Horner.

A: I'm writing music for movies, documentarys and feature films.
