Hi, my name is Mark. I’ve been working as a freelance mixing engineer for 25 years. I’d like to offer everyone an easy and painless professional experience. I’m here to provide a friendly and professional experience. I’ve mixed nearly every style of rock from Punk to Prog. My specialty is in indie rock.

A: The current project I'm working on has been a very special project for me as Producer, engineer, mixing/mastering engineer and musician.

A: I'm working on an album by Ben Holt.

A: Both. Well, because they both have plenty to offer.

A: You will hear something that puts a smile on your face every time.

A: I’ve had a deep love and passion for music my entire life. It is an absolute pleasure to work with and hear beautiful music from so many great musicians.

A: That it is easy. It is not. It has taken many years of learning hands on with the best around me along with plenty of trial and error.

A: Have a clear vision for your song.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing in bands as a teenager, switching from one instrument to the next. Over the years I've gradually switched to the producer/mixing engineer role, which I’ve been active in for 25 years.

A: Cool, relaxed, friendly, and professional

A: David Gilmour. Just to hear that guitar tone up close.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't over complicate.

A: Indie Rock, Experimental Rock, Electronic, Hard Rock
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Close attention to detail. Mixes are monitored from several different sources for consistency.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Clarity, depth, width, and weight but most important is the glue.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to give my ears periodic breaks to stay fresh on mixes.
