Hi everyone,
My name is Liza Light. I’m a 24yo female session guitar player based in Los Angeles, CA.
I’m thrilled to offer you my skills and passion for any of your projects. I have a wide variety of guitars and gear, which allows me to find the right tones and setup for each project individually, whether it’s a live performance or a studio recording session.
I’ve worked with many great artists, including Julia Wolf, Jonathan Sanford (tv-show “Killing It”, Amber Ryann, Alta Ave, LEADR, Rasha Jay, Joey Salinas, performed at many festivals, such as ACL, NAMM, Phoenix Pride and many more.

Interview with Liza Light
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Worked on the score for tv-show “Killing It” with Craig Robinson. (scored by Jonathan Sanford)
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Depends on the project and goals.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That learning guitar is hard.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I assume there’s power?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started at 8, ended up getting Jazz Performance degree and moving to LA from Ukraine.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always voice memo every idea.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually Rock; Pop; R&B; but i approach it from emotional point rather than stylistic.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Complimenting myself jk. I would say the ability to balance out passion and professionalism, i also have a pretty good ear.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Raw emotions, my perspective on the music and life in general.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Every single one from Stevie Wonder and Rage Against the Machine to Lady Gaga and Snarky Puppy and everything in between, as long as it’s truthful.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Live performing is my thing ;)
