I love old school recording techniques, drums in big spaces captured with less microphones possible, recording on tape, I'm still convinced that the most important thing in a good recording is a good musician!
I have a little studio (recording room of 40 mq, 5 mt. ceiling and control room about 30 mq) where I love to recording bands live direct to tape or with daw, or why not, both! I love 60'/70' sounds, very natural and dynamics. I use cubase as daw, with SSL converters and have a lot of 70ies preamps, telefunken, neumann, lawo, but also Focusrite Isa, Rane, Tl audio, and last but non less the preamps in my beloved Tascam M520 console. Microphones AKG, Shure, Sontronics, old ribbon Mics, Mxl etc.
I love 70ies sounds, so my main monitors are JBL 4310, then Tannoy reveal, and some diy monitors and a pair of auratones. My cup of tea is to recording, mix or remix recordings of bands or singersongwriters especially for generes like indie, folk, psychedelic, rock, pop jazz and so, but i'm also a great appassionate of reggae and dub, if you want a natural and dynamic sound I'm here!
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.
