Infamous on SoundBetter

Rapper, producer, and composer from Soweto, GP. RSA Active since 2013, real name Ntshunxeko Nkuna, Infamous is nothing short of a true underground rap contributor with his rough, irreverent and raw street style mixed with the new hip-hop sound which is sure to create a unique but relevant rap movement and listening experience.

Born in 1990 in Soweto and influenced by the kwaito sounds of the 90s and 00s, Infamous started writing lyrics at the age of nine. Another influence to his sound his major influenced Rapper EMINEM as he could always relate to the lyrics. He later began joining rap battles and learning more about the rap game which later led to his first mixtape in 2013 called “I stopped believing in God” followed by two remix tapes and an LP in 2015 “Welcome to my hell” that brought attention to his music and even landing a live television performance on ETVs morning breakfast show and an interview with Penny Lebyane. Having taught himself how to record, mix and master his works, Infamous created his identity online and on social networks while releasing mixtapes almost every year.
