Professional Vocal coach 8+ years & Music Producer specialising in vocal tuning and indie pop production. Musical Theatre Performer in Les Miserables, Wicked, The Boy From Oz, Avenue Q
As a Professional Vocal Coach of 8+ years and a Pop, Musical Theatre & Jazz Singer I am obsessed with the voice.
I work with singers to find their unqiue sound as artists and performers and work to capture that in their music. Artists I have worked with are now working as gigging and recording artists, have been successfully cast in musicals and admitted to competitive universities across the country.
Although I specialise in vocal production I'm also a "Traditional" Producer. This means I can produce a song from just your vocals, or from any instrumentation/chords you might have, all the way through to a fully produced song.
Whether you're an absolute beginner or a pro looking for a change I can help. I've worked with 100's of singers of all abilities so can take the first time shower singers through the process as well as help perfect the nuance and emotion of seasoned professionals.
My Services include:
- Vocal Production including, tuning, comping and coaching to get your vocals radio ready
- Song Production to match YOUR vision and voice and what the song needs to move audiences
- Song Writing to write lyrics to your melodies, melodies to your lyrics or topline to your tracks
- Mixing to bring out the best in your song.

Interview with Will Toft
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A modern psychedelic EP that I'm super excited about. An Indie Pop Album with Maya Lawton. And song for a 13 minute short film in a sad-pop style with orchestra.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: My perfect client is someone who is keen to have a chat about their music, inspirations, their favourite songs, what they wear and watch, how they perform - to talk about absolutely everything so we can create a song that suits them as artists - and from a labels point of view, fits their brand and elevates their career. After that - a clear vision helps but we can always work that out together.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started as a singer. Fell into musical theatre as an excuse to sing and have been writing for forever. After performing lead roles in The Boy From Oz, Wicked, Les Miserables I wanted to sing in my own voice and produce my own music. This led to me producing, mixing, recording, and writing for friends and it has just grown from there.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop and Indie pop usually.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Jack Antonoff, Jon Bellion, Finneas
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Taking songs from voice memos to full songs - 100% most common thing.

- Vocal Engineer for Cast Recording of New Australian MusicalJun 24, 2023
I'm currently working with the lead vocalist of a New Australian Musical to record all her songs. And right now we're spending a lot of time refining the voice of this character and how she wants to tell this story with her voice to bring the show, music and characters to life.
