Endorse Ray iBizaI worked with Ray many years ago in recording the first demo of my Rock & Roll band (Trip Land), and with the bare minimum gear, he managed to put together our song, marking the very first step in the band's career.
More than a decade later, we reunited to work on some songs for my 2nd solo album. It is amazing to see what unexpected direction one's songs can go when working with this producer! I had a vision for a country song and ended up with a dub blues.
Very creative and proactive!
I've worked with Ray on different songs over several years. Even with just a riff and very raw ideas, he turns back with an awesome proposition for the direction of the song.
Some of those songs hold a special place in my heart, wouldn't doubt to call him for another song anytime i've got a chance.
Ray has created jingles and background music for several of our brands througout the last 7 years. We would not go for any other provider, as he fully grasps our brands' style and target audience. He always exceeds our expectations!
We recorded several of our band's demos under Ray's production. He added a ton of value, from song structure to second guitar details, vocal harmonization, you name it!
Performing the songs live after incorporating the production notes that came out of the sessions with Ray made a huge difference in our sound.
Recommended!!!
Ray is not only good at his craft, but also an excellent communicator, which has made every project we work on together, a very smooth and enjoyable process.
Greatly recommended!
I was self-producing my song "Sunshine" and was feeling kind of stuck, unable to find the right sound for it.
A friend recommended working with Ray, we visitted his studio in Koh Samui, Thailand and from the first session we found great chemistry.
The final result was amazing! We worked on two more songs after that experience.
Highly recommended producer, very skilled and friendly.
Ray is a great musician and producer. Back in 2010 we had a few songs composed on the guitar and piano, but we didn't have the knowledge to turn those into actual recorded songs. We scouted for studios in our city and they offered recording, mixing and mastering, but there was not an offer to help us arrange the songs and track them.
A friend in common recommended we work with Ray and it couldn't have been a better fit! He sequenced drums, bass and other instruments for each one of our song and scouted renowned session musicians to track them. Both singles made it to HTV's top 10

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: LS2 Helmets Europe - Not Ordinary People This is a series of about 30 short films by LS2 Helmets. Each video tells the story of a motorbike rider in different locations of the world, describing what it means to them to be a biker. My role in this project was to musicalize and in some cases add sound effects to these videos. The result is incredible! Gotta give most of the credit to the videography team who did an unbelievable job, setting the bar very high for what the music for this material should sound like. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Nothing, pretty available right now
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, except for amps and compressors
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To have an awesome song to put out into the market or take it further
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Giving output to the infinite number of melodies, rhythms and even whole songs that come to mind on a constant basis
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What clients have you worked with? -> Orlando y Max, Eduardo Galan, Maru Koty, Alé, LS2 Helmets Europe Are you able to make my song sound like <reference> ? -> Absolutely, I can make you a 30 seconds sample
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: When I first started creating my own EDM music, it made sense to learn how to DJ and start mixing music that I like with the music I make. That created the idea in my circle that I was just a DJ, for a long time people have assumed that "making music in the computer" is the same as being a DJ. Probably a consequence of figures like David Guetta and Aviici rising to worldwide stardom and associated to their DJ work rather than their songwriting and production work.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do they need this music for? What kind of timeline they have in mind? Have they hired a producer or beat maker before? Do they need commercial rights or full unrestricted rights?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Jump on a Zoom call and see if there's chemistry and if the producer can easily understand your ideas and you can easily understand theirs.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Electro-acoustic guitar, headphones, audio interface, laptop and a solar power-gen
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I graduated as a software engineer very early (20 years old) and a bit later as a music producer (23 years old). I've been pursuing both careers simultaneously ever since. I have traveled to and lived in several countries and managed to put both my professional skills at the service of those I connect with throughout each journey.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Sabroso (groovy in latino spanish)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Will.I.Am , because of his versatility and tremendous amount of knowledge and experience. I'm sure it would be an incredible learning experience.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Have a pre-vetted sample library, VSTi presets and Equalizer presets in order to quickly draft the first ideas. Avoid browsing presets and samples for a long time while within a project session, do this proactively as a separate task.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: EDM: Moombahton, Progressive House, Electro, Dubstep Urban: Reggaeton, Afrobeats, Merengue House Pop: Indie Rock, Pop-Rock, Pop-Punk
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: - Sequencing at very fast pace. Can fully sequence 5 instruments for a 3 minute song in 1 hour. - I'm very good at sequencing drums and percussions
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Fresh perspective, bouncy and groovy beats, powerfull bass lines, funky synths and guitars.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Generally somebody will have an idea for a song and a few references, I turn that input into the first draft of the song, we discuss paths forward and I proceed to sequence additional instruments, make changes in structure as required and provide a semi-final version for feedback and fine-tuning. Once completed this process, I proceed to finalize the mix and apply digital mastering, then export stems and project files, place them in a google drive folder along with the master and share the link with the client.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: KRK Rokit monitors, Macbook Pro, FL Studio. Simple but powerful!
